5GREAT for sensitive skin! and a note on suds...Apr 08, 2013
By MommaJ
All of the big name dishwash soaps that you can readily buy at the supermarket make my hands dry and cracked. I thought that trying gloves was the way to go, but I don't like it when they get loose and sloppy. This dishwash liquid is wonderful in every aspect, it smells great without the added fragrances, cut through grease and set in odor/discoloration(if it is new, not if it's been there for five years), but best of all, I don't have to wear gloves anymore!

FYI, It doesn't suds up the way some people like, but it's not bubbles that make things clean, it's the surfactants that help get grease and grime off. I actually like this better because you don't waste a bunch of water trying to rinse bubbles away, and you can see right away if you have gotten your dish completely clean, rather than rinse it fo find you missed a spot. There are SOME bubbles though.

After finding this I tried their amazing Biokleen Citrus Laundry Liquid, 64-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6), and doing quite a bit of hand washing, this is great for not oversudsing as well. You'd be surprised with regular detergent how much suds stay in your clothes and actually ATTRACT dirt. With this, you only need a couple Tablespoons full, and it gets clothes really clean! Hope you try it!

5My favorite dishsoap!Jun 11, 2009
By K. M. Woodcox "Kelly"
This is the best dishwashing liquid I've ever used! My glasses get so shiney, I cannot believe it. That proves to me that it leaves no soap residue behind.

Remember it's not the suds that count. I does make suds but they don't last the longest. The dishes get super clean so there are no worries.

I let them soak (if needed)for about 15 minutes and then it's super easy washing.

It's also not harsh on your skin which I appreciate!!

2Sadly, an Ineffective Dishwashing LiquidNov 10, 2011
By Amazon Customer
I bought this product based on all of the good reviews and was rather excited when I finally received it. I mean who wouldn't be - the reviews promised a green dishwashing detergent that worked as well as the conventional products.

Maybe I'm too used to the conventional products, but I was greatly disappointed when I finally got to try out Biokleen. Unlike the conventional products, where you can do quite a bit of dishes with a small squirt applied to the sponge, with Biokleen you have to use an awful lot of the product for it to even lather up. And, the lather doesn't last very long so you constantly have to keep reapplying. I thought that the lather issue might be a green cleaner quirk and I tried to just keep washing dishes despite the lack of lather. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to work as the dishes seemed to retain a greasy film. My husband hated it so much he tried to throw it out, but I couldn't have that kind of wastefulness and ended up mixing it with conventional dishwashing detergent to get it used up.

Overall, I can't say that I recommend this product.

5Favorite Eco-Soap!Aug 13, 2010
By tpol
I love this eco dish soap! I have tried Seventh Generation but was not satisfied with the results (residue on dishes, does not do well against odor and grease). Frequent dish washing with chemical brands dried out my hands, not so with this soap. The grapefruit and orange-peel smells fantastic and gets through odors and grease with no problem. My dishes also clean when they dry; no film residue or speckles. It's concentrated so a little goes a long way. I dilute mine in a recycled foaming hand pump to use even less and still works wonders. It also makes a good hand soap too!

5fantastic!Apr 25, 2010

I have issues with a lot of dishwashing liquids being really harsh on my hands. This isn't hard on my hands at all. Ever since the first time I tried this, it's our favorite. It works very well to clean dishes, and I've had really good luck getting some pans clean that had baked on stains by letting them soak and using steel wool with it. It rinses easily and very clean and I haven't noticed spots on our air dried dishes.
